For the Peruvian alternative rock / grunge band E.T.C., I created 6 unique visualizers for their 2025 album Tuyo. Each visualizer is an exploration of the heart interpreted in different forms and reacting dynamically to the music. Using the audio waveform and song data, the hearts move, break, burn, and rebuild in sync with the tracks, reflecting themes of love, loss, and inner struggle.
The visualizers explore the heart in various forms, from a cover heart symbolizing “I gave you my heart, and you returned it,” or reflecting the intensity of addiction, isolation, and darkness, to an anatomical heart, sculptural and slightly abstract, suspended in a dark space, which disassembles into fragments that float and then recombine, creating a cycle of destruction and renewal. Across all six pieces, the hearts act as living forms: burning, breaking, and reassembling in response to the energy of each song, offering a dynamic and immersive visualization of E.T.C.’s music.
The result is a set of immersive, reactive visuals that deepen the emotional connection to E.T.C.’s music, making the album a fully synesthetic experience.
