ALMOST IN PARADISE

"Concept of the year", created by YummyColours, is a collection of work by 70+ creators/artists. It is an invitation to explore creatively,  and an open-ended prompt for work created through intentional and personal interpretation.

The theme for the 2022 collection was "SLEEPWALKING" - changing of awareness, of being in the in between.

“ALMOST IN PARADISE,” explores the shifting boundaries of awareness and the experience of existing in an in-between state. Inspired by the idea of embracing the fall, the work reflects on surrender, in allowing oneself to give in to whatever is meant to happen. Rather than resisting uncertainty, the piece considers letting go as an intentional act, a moment of suspension where vulnerability becomes acceptance. In this space between control and release, falling is not failure but transformation, a passage toward another state of being.
